Some Packers Facts, Firsts, Records
& Odds and Ends
- First Season:
1921 (Franchise granted 27 August 1921)
- Stadium / Home Town:
Lambeau Field, Green Bay Wisconsin (a city of less than 100,000).

professional sports franchises, Green Bay, is viewed by many as sort
of a sports "dinosaur".
- Ownership:
The team is also special in another way as the team is the
only community-owned non-profit organization in the NFL. It is also the last remaining publicly owned pro sports team (4,748,910 shares, 111,507 stockholders, none of whom receive dividend on initial investment).

- The Quarterback records
Brett Favre is the NFLs only three-time MVP, and his 16 season at Green Bay were more than any other player or coach. In addition to leading the NFL in touchdown passes, Favre also holds the record for career completions, passing attempts, passing yards and wins as a starting quarterback. |

Favre moved ahead of Dan Marino with TD pass No. 421 to Jennings
in 1st quarter and No. 422 to Jones in the 4th quarter during
Game #4 Season 2007 vs Vikings. |
It was also during Game #6 vs Redskins that Farve acquired another NFL record. His 278th interception of his career, broke a tie with George Blanda with the dubious mark coming just two weeks after surpassing Dan Marino's career record for touchdown passes and a month after breaking John Elway's record for most career victories for a starting quarterback.

Ryan Longwall, 1054 points (1997-2005).
